1. Who we are

ClearRival is a competitive intelligence service operated by Volt Grid Ltd. We help B2B SaaS companies monitor their competitors and deliver weekly briefings via email. Our contact email is hello@clearrival.com.

2. What data we collect

When you sign up for a trial or paid subscription, we collect:

Your first name, last name, and work email address
Your company name and website URL
Competitor names and website URLs you provide
Your plan selection and monitoring preferences
Payment information, processed by Stripe (we never store card details directly)
Email engagement data (clicks on links in emails we send you)

We do not collect data from login-required pages or private competitor information. All competitor monitoring uses publicly accessible data.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

Configure and deliver your competitor monitoring service
Send you weekly competitive briefings and real-time alerts
Send trial reminder and account notification emails
Process payments and manage your subscription
Communicate with you about your account

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on infrastructure in the EU. Email delivery is handled by Resend. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. All third-party processors are subject to standard data processing agreements.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to processing of your data
Withdraw consent at any time

6. Email communications

By signing up, you agree to receive service emails including weekly briefings, trial reminders, and account notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting hello@clearrival.com.

7. Cancellation and data retention

You may cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, your account data is retained for 90 days and then deleted, unless you request earlier deletion. Competitor monitoring data is retained for 12 months for continuity purposes if you resubscribe.

8. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary to operate the service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
